Because travel opens up your world. New experiences, new people, incredible locations and quirky stories... these are the souvenirs you’ll be able to take home with you after your 2025 travels.

Calling culture lovers, foodies, history buffs, thrill-seekers, shopping enthusiasts... London is waiting. We had to put it in our top ten list. Why? Because London is one of those destinations that continues to provide and 2025 is no exception.
Alongside its regular attractions (from Big Ben to Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London to The British Museum), London will be home to several exciting events in 2025 that you could time your trip around.
We could go on, but I think you get the point by now. There’s a reason we use London as one of our main departure points in the UK. And if you’re looking to go further afield and explore outside of the city, we have a range of tours that leave from London, our driver-guides ready to welcome you on board.
Ah, Roma. A city of striking architecture and dripping gelatos, a fresh limoncello as the sun sets after a fascinating day exploring the history of one of the world’s most interesting cities. And we’re not just talking about ancient Rome, the Pantheon and Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and Roman Forum... no, we’re talking about modern Rome too. The stylishly dressed ladies who somehow navigate the cobbled streets in high heels, the zipping cars and scooters among the backstreets, the nooks and crannies hiding endless shopping opportunities.
We adore Rome and it adores you; it’s why it welcomes you with such passion no matter what time of year you’re visiting. Whether covered in early-morning mist or thriving in the midday summer sun, places like the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps welcome you all year round. And seeing places like the Sistine Chapel and the Capuchin Crypt should most definitely be at the top of your list.
But 2025 is a special year... because it is a Jubilee Year. What does that mean? It means that Rome will host a major Catholic event that only occurs once every 25 years. Pilgrims from around the world will visit to participate in special ceremonies, religious events, and cultural initiatives – some even within iconic locations such as St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican.
And for those who cannot resist the allure of an Italian adventure, you don’t have to stop at Rome. With our tours from Rome, you can soak up the sunshine on the Amalfi Coast, be humbled at Pompeii, and even venture as far as Switzerland, so much more of Italy and Europe than you’d possibly planned. But we know that the choice can sometimes be overwhelming, so here’s a good place to start with 5 places to visit from Rome.
It’s November in Iceland and the night sky is writhing with the glow of the Northern Lights. It’s July in Iceland and you’re out exploring an ancient lava field at one o’clock in the morning thanks to the Midnight Sun. It’s April in Iceland and you’re standing in the mist of Gullfoss waterfall, its roar sounding for miles.
Oh, Iceland. How we adore you. And while we sadly don’t visit there on tour, we cannot recommend it enough, especially since it was voted one of the safest countries in Europe to travel to. One minute you’re climbing the slopes of an active volcano, and the next you’re floating in the geothermal Blue Lagoon spa with mineral-rich mud on your face and a drink in your hand.
And, as a global leader in renewable energy, with almost 100% of its electricity coming from hydropower and geothermal sources, you can rest easy knowing you’re doing your bit for the planet while you travel. This is something important to us here at Rabbie’s, given that we’re a B Corp Certified Travel Company and follow our own Responsible Travel Initiative.
We find ourselves in the Yorkshire Dales quite often... but once you’ve been there, it’s difficult to resist the pull to return. Yorkshire is a playground for explorers and adventurers, a place where you can hike through glorious landscapes in the morning, meander down cobbled streets in the afternoon, and savour the deliciousness of a Yorkshire Pudding in the evening.
From the Roman-founded city of York to the wild valleys and expansive heather-covered moors of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this wide and wonderous region of England is the perfect place to escape to for a holiday. Especially for those of us living in bigger cities, the allure of the quaintness of Yorkshire Dales is strong, and we know you’re going to love it. To think we started with the bustling urban streets of London and now we’re talking about the quiet cobbled streets of Bath. Both located in England, you can even reach Bath from the city of London on an easy day trip. But we know the pull of a place like Bath is strong, there’s a reason we have it as a departure point.
And you won’t be the first to fall in love with Bath. English author Jane Austen wrote about it for a reason, from the luxurious lifestyle to the ancient history. Even the TV show Bridgerton is filmed there; Bath’s curved terrace houses and idyllic shopping streets ensuring its fame.
If you need a further guide to Bath, then look no further. And the most important decision you’ll have to make is which do you prefer: the Sally Lunn Bun or the Bath Bun?
